How Might we use social media for frictionless shopping experience ?
With more work and less time, the in-store shopping experience is more cumbersome than ever; however, data tells us that there are exponentially increasing the number of users of social media like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter. Also, with ever increasing number of bloggers and social fashionista’s a lot of people scroll through their accounts to look for inspirations. A recent report says smartphone users check Facebook's website 13.8 times a day, on average, and spend a total of half an hour each day on the social network on their phones. As more users get inspired by trend looks/products on the social network, they then visit merchant's website to buy the desired products. But the journey is not always pleasant and users get lost and frustrated digging through several categories and never ending merchandise.
